These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cam Alert service, including its products. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not register or use any Cam Alert service.
You acknowledge and agree that Cam Alert services and products are not designed or certified for emergency response. We make no guarantees that using Cam Alert services or products with third-party devices or services will enhance safety or security. Cam Alert services and products do not function as a third-party monitored emergency alert system, and we do not dispatch emergency responders in case of an emergency. For any life-threatening or urgent situations, you should contact the appropriate emergency response services directly.
By using Cam Alert services, registering a product, creating an online account (“Account”), or completing transactions through Cam Alert services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that by using your login credentials or selecting an “I Agree” button, you provide electronic consent, which holds the same legal effect as a written signature. Additionally, you consent to receiving important disclosures, notifications, messages, and promotional communications via your registered mobile phone number and email address.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If significant changes occur, we will notify you via the Cam Alert service or email. Your continued use of Cam Alert services after receiving such notice confirms your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms outline your use of Cam Alert services. The purchase of any product is subject to the specific limited warranty provided with that product.
You may only register a product or use the Cam Alert service if you have the legal capacity to enter into agreements or have obtained proper authorization if acting on behalf of a company. Use of the Cam Alert service is not permitted where restricted by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If a minor wishes to use the Cam Alert service, a parent or legal guardian must register the product or create an account on their behalf. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately.
To access and use your product with Cam Alert services, you must create an account. You confirm and agree that: (i) all registration details you provide are truthful, accurate, and complete; (ii) you will maintain the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of your account information; and (iii) your use of Cam Alert services complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Your account is personal and cannot be transferred to another individual. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
Certain products or features may require Internet access and registration with Cam Alert services. Access to Cam Alert services is dependent on: (i) a stable and properly positioned Wi-Fi network that can reliably communicate with the product; (ii) a mobile device running Android or iOS to pair the product with the Wi-Fi network; (iii) an active account; (iv) continuous broadband Internet access; and (v) any additional system components specified by Cam Alert for specific products. You also acknowledge that Cam Alert may enable Bluetooth or Wi-Fi services on your device as needed to ensure proper product registration and connectivity, with or without prior notification.

Cam Alert may modify, upgrade, discontinue, or temporarily suspend any feature or component of its services at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee that software updates can be applied to all products or that changes to the service will function as expected. You acknowledge that certain software updates may be required to continue using Cam Alert services with your product, and you agree to install any updates we provide in a timely manner. Failure to do so may result in service disruptions, for which you assume full responsibility.
These Terms will remain valid as long as you access or use Cam Alert services. If you transfer ownership of a Cam Alert product, your access to the service for that product will be automatically revoked, and the new owner will not be able to use the product or Cam Alert services through your account. Once your account is terminated, your right to use Cam Alert services will immediately end, and we may delete your content and associated data after your subscription period expires. You have the option to cancel your account at any time.
By complying with these Terms, you are granted a revocable, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to:
This license is strictly for your personal, non-commercial use of the product and Cam Alert services. You may only install and use the Mobile Apps on devices that you own, lease, or have direct control over. No additional licenses or rights are granted to you by implication or under any intellectual property rights owned or managed by us or our licensors.
Unless explicitly permitted under these Terms, you agree not to, and will not allow others to:
You may access and use Cam Alert services only for the following purposes:
When using Cam Alert services, you must not:
You may choose to upload, share, email, or otherwise submit ("Submit") text, images, videos, audio, and other materials through your product or directly within Cam Alert services ("Your Content"), including for storage or sharing with third parties online. If you post Your Content in publicly accessible areas of Cam Alert services or on third-party platforms via our services, it may be viewed by others. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, and we are not liable for any errors, omissions, or issues arising from it.
Cam Alert also provides access to various forms of content, including text, graphics, photos, videos, audio, and other materials either owned by us or contributed by other users. These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may access and view such content solely for personal use. You are prohibited from copying, selling, renting, distributing (including digitally), publicly performing, marketing, creating derivative works, or otherwise exploiting this content without prior written consent.
We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of any content, whether user-generated or provided by Cam Alert. You acknowledge that accessing any content through Cam Alert services is at your own risk, and you assume full responsibility for any consequences that may result. By using Cam Alert services, you release us from any liability related to Your Content or any other content accessed through our services.
By submitting Your Content on or through Cam Alert services, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, copy, modify, publicly display, perform, and distribute Your Content in connection with operating and providing Cam Alert services. Additionally, we have the right to reformat, translate, create derivative works of, or modify Your Content as needed for storage and display within our platform. If Your Content is shared publicly, you also grant us the right to distribute, market, perform, display, exploit, and create derivative works of it across any medium or platform, now known or later developed, without restrictions or compensation to you. These rights are sublicensable.
You confirm and warrant that you either own Your Content or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it and grant us the licenses described in these Terms.
Furthermore, you agree that Your Content and its use within Cam Alert services will not:
Any feedback, suggestions, comments, or ideas you submit regarding Cam Alert services become our property. We may use, copy, modify, redistribute, publish, or otherwise utilize them for any purpose without compensation to you. We also retain the right to use similar ideas already known to us or developed independently.
Cam Alert services are designed for non-time-critical information and product control. While we strive to ensure reliability and availability, we do not guarantee that our services will be accessible or fully functional at all times. Cam Alert services may experience occasional interruptions or failures due to factors beyond our control, including Wi-Fi disruptions, service provider issues, mobile network limitations, and notification delays. You acknowledge these limitations and agree that we are not responsible for any damages resulting from service failures, delays, or inaccuracies in product status, notifications, or content timing.
Cam Alert services may also be temporarily suspended without prior notice for reasons such as security measures, system failures, maintenance, repairs, updates, or adjustments. You understand and agree that such suspensions do not entitle you to any refunds or credits. We do not provide any specific uptime guarantees, nor are we liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
All information provided through Cam Alert services, including product usage and status updates, is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that this information is always accurate or up to date. Accessing information through Cam Alert services should not be considered a substitute for direct access to the product itself.
While we prioritize the security, integrity, and availability of Your Content and personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that any content or personal data you provide is submitted at your own risk.
Cam Alert services rely on third-party products and services to function properly. For example, certain features—such as data storage, synchronization, and communication—may be supported by external providers like Amazon Web Services. Additionally, mobile notifications depend on mobile operating system vendors and network carriers. Since these third-party services are beyond our control, their performance may not always be reliable or available at all times. Cam Alert is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from issues related to these third-party services.
You acknowledge that you are responsible for any fees charged by your internet service provider (ISP) and mobile carrier for accessing and using Cam Alert services, including connecting to your products. Additionally, you are responsible for complying with all applicable agreements, terms of service, and policies set by your ISP and carrier.
Furthermore, the availability of Cam Alert mobile applications depends on third-party platforms from which they are downloaded, such as Google Play or Apple’s App Store (each referred to as an "App Store"). These Terms are solely between you and Cam Alert, not with any App Store. Each App Store may have its own terms and conditions that you must agree to before downloading and using our mobile applications. Your compliance with these App Store policies is required, and in the event of a conflict between App Store terms and these Terms, the stricter or more specific provisions in these Terms will apply.
Cam Alert services may include links to third-party websites ("Third-Party Sites") and referrals to third-party vendors ("Referred Vendors"). These third parties operate independently and are not managed or controlled by us. We provide these links and referrals for convenience only and do not review, approve, endorse, or make any warranties regarding their products, services, or policies. It is your responsibility to review the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of any Third-Party Sites or Referred Vendors before using their services.
Cam Alert is not responsible for any third-party products or services, including but not limited to those that support or interact with Cam Alert services, such as internet service providers (ISPs), mobile carriers, App Stores, Third-Party Sites, and Referred Vendors.
By using Cam Alert services, you acknowledge and agree to release, waive, and discharge Cam Alert, its licensors, and suppliers from any claims, liabilities, or damages—whether known or unknown—arising from your interactions with third parties and their products or services.
Furthermore, you expressly waive any legal protection that might limit the scope of this release, including California Civil Code Section 1542, which states: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in their favor at the time of executing the release, which if known must have materially affected their settlement with the debtor."
You also waive any similar legal provisions that may apply in other jurisdictions.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cam Alert, along with its directors, officers, employees, shareholders, affiliates, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers, from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses, or demands—including legal fees—brought by a third party arising from or related to:
Cam Alert will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action, or proceeding as soon as we become aware of it.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cam Alert services—including the website, mobile applications, subscription services, and software—are provided for your convenience “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and potential errors. Cam Alert, along with its suppliers and licensors, expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, quiet enjoyment, non-infringement of third-party rights, availability, and data security. Additionally, any warranties arising from prior dealings or trade practices are also disclaimed.
Cam Alert does not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product, software, or service advertised or provided by a third party in connection with Cam Alert services, including cloud-based services, linked websites, or third-party platforms.
We make no representations regarding the content accessed through our services and are not responsible for its accuracy, copyright compliance, legality, or appropriateness. Cam Alert is also not responsible for any suggestions, recommendations, or purchases made through its services.
You acknowledge that Cam Alert services operate over the internet, and your use of them is entirely at your own risk. We do not guarantee that Cam Alert services will be free from data loss, corruption, cyberattacks, viruses, interference, hacking, malware, or other security threats, and we disclaim any liability related to such risks.
Surveillance, data protection, and privacy laws vary by jurisdiction and may impose legal obligations on how you use Cam Alert services. You acknowledge and agree that you (not Cam Alert) are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws in your area. Cam Alert is not liable for any misuse of its services, including but not limited to:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cam Alert, along with its directors, officers, employees, shareholders, affiliates, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers, shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or incidental damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from:
These limitations apply regardless of whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Cam Alert was aware or should have been aware of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Cam Alert’s total cumulative liability for any claims arising from or related to the use of Cam Alert services—whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory—shall not exceed the total fees you paid to Cam Alert or an authorized reseller for the service in the six months preceding the most recent claim (if any). This limitation applies collectively and will not be increased due to multiple claims or incidents.
Furthermore, Cam Alert disclaims all liability of any kind on behalf of its licensors and suppliers.
The limitations and exclusions of liability outlined in this section are essential terms of the agreement between you and Cam Alert.
These Terms, as well as any claims, disputes, or legal actions arising from or related to Cam Alert services (collectively, “Disputes”), shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles that might apply the laws of another jurisdiction.
If a Dispute arises between you and Cam Alert, you agree to first notify us so that we can attempt to address your concerns. Our goal is to resolve disputes informally, and we will make reasonable efforts to do so by contacting you via email.
If the Dispute is not resolved within 90 days of your submission, either party may choose to escalate the matter and initiate formal legal proceedings.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute related to your use of Cam Alert services must be filed within one (1) year from the date the event or issue giving rise to the dispute occurred. If a claim is not filed within this period, you waive the right to pursue any legal action based on that event or issue.
These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Cam Alert regarding the use of our services, superseding any prior verbal or written agreements.
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that provision or any other rights outlined herein.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full effect, and the invalid provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You are not permitted to assign or transfer these Terms, along with any associated rights or obligations, whether by operation of law or otherwise, without prior written consent from Cam Alert. Any attempt to do so without approval will be considered invalid.
Cam Alert reserves the right to assign or transfer these Terms freely without any restrictions.
